Unfailing Love

“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Jeremiah 31:3 (NIV)
God's love is not seasonal. It does not rise and fall with our performance or fluctuate with our faithfulness. It is everlasting — without beginning, without end, without condition. Jeremiah received this word during one of Israel's darkest hours. The nation had wandered far from God, yet His message was not one of rejection but of relentless pursuit. He had loved them in the past, He loved them in their rebellion, and He would love them into restoration. The same is true for you. God's love is not waiting for you to be worthy. It has already found you, already chosen you, already drawn you close. His kindness is not a reward for good behaviour — it is the very force that leads you home. Rest in this today: you are loved with a love that will never fail, never fade, and never let you go.
Prayer
Father, thank You for loving me before I ever loved You. Your love is not based on my performance but on Your character. Help me to receive Your love fully today — not as something I must earn, but as a gift freely given. Draw me closer to Your heart. Let Your unfailing kindness be the foundation on which I build my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
