Walking by Faith

“For we live by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
Faith is trusting God when the path ahead is unclear. It is taking the next step even when you cannot see the full staircase. Paul reminds us that our lives are not governed by what we can see, but by what we believe about the One who leads us. Sight demands evidence before action. Faith acts on the promise before the evidence appears. Abraham left his homeland without knowing where he was going. Moses stretched his staff over the sea before it parted. The disciples left their nets before they understood the mission. God rarely reveals the full picture in advance. He gives just enough light for the next step — because faith grows in the space between promise and fulfilment. Today, where is God asking you to trust Him without seeing the outcome? Take that step. He has never failed those who walk by faith.
Prayer
Lord, I choose to walk by faith today — not by what I see, but by what I know to be true about You. When the path is unclear, remind me that You are faithful. Give me courage to take the next step even when I cannot see the destination. / trust Your plan, Your timing, and Your goodness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
