The Bread of Life

“Tam the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never he thirsty.”

John 6:35 (NIV)

Jesus made a bold claim: He is the bread of life. In a world that constantly seeks satisfaction in possessions, achievements, and relationships, Christ declares that He alone can satisfy the deepest hunger of the human soul. The crowd that day wanted physical bread — they had just witnessed the feeding of the five thousand. But Jesus pointed them to something greater. Physical bread sustains for a moment; the Bread of Life sustains for eternity. We often try to fill our souls with things that were never meant to satisfy. We consume more, achieve more, acquire more — yet the emptiness remains. Only Christ can fill the void that nothing else can reach. Today, come to Jesus. Not with your performance, but with your hunger. He promises that whoever comes will never go hungry again.
